What are the differences between science and religion in their conclusions on certain concepts?

Let me give a perspective from Quran, I am hoping you have went through basic concept on this blog to make this concept more clear

Quran(God) explained that humans are being given two kinds of knowledge so they can find the reason of their creation and to identify God, one they can attain through their senses by looking at natures and the perfect balance its created in and how night and day gets changed how this whole universe works and so on and Second source of knowledge are the revelations from God (Religion) and which is delivered by Prophets over time.

17:36 And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart – about all those [one] will be questioned.

8-20 O you who have believed, obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn from him while you hear [his order]. And do not be like those who say, “We have heard,” while they do not hear. Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason.

So one is acquired knowledge and one is revealed knowledge, and as per text above Allah expects us to use both when deciding about something instead of using traditions, culture, or associating with an ideas which is rather popular.

As a Muslim we cannot close our eyes from any of these two sources of knowledge both are equally important to reach God and  to understand the creation and to be successful in this life and hereafter, So science is not something which is against Quran and God ; science progress through our senses ( we see something; compare something, conclude something; find something else; relate to something which we found earlier and so on) and we use it to understand  the universe and God’s creation and how this world is kept in balance.  Science and Quran (Religion) are not to be think as different or opposing but should go hand in hand to balance it out and absence of one or excessive of one will make the society and human loose balance. As Muslims we believe God has made physical laws constants on this world to make life and science possible.

This also make sense; as we see in society today we see lot of polarization between left; left think there should not be any religion and this world is created on its own (and there is no God); while for someone on right side (person who take his religion basis dare) tries to make sense of everything based on text provided in his book, though what he stands for is illogical or wrong in light of science.

So when a person with right mindset is trying to make a point about religion or concepts related to it he tries to ignore logics and science; because it does not reconcile with his faith. Similar is the case with a person with on left side he think religion is cause of more harm than good and deny any guidance from it and thinks science or humanity can help solve all the issue.

Now a Muslim who believes science and religion to be coming from the same source cannot ignore one or the other but has to keep him-self open to both at same time while analyzing any issue; they should make sense at the same time and should reconcile religiously and logically.
